My 2021 Reading Year: July – December

Hey Guys!

I’m back with the rest of my Reading year. Since my last post, I’ve had to increase my reading challenge to 135. And then passed that by 2, one that I squeezed in just hours before midnight! I’ve had a pretty awesome reading year and I’m excited. While December itself seems to be my slowest month this year, I’m ok with that. I’ve learned that I shouldn’t base my reading on anyone else’s, because we each read at different speeds, and whatever reading I do is good.

I also did really good at tracking my books this year, both digitally and physically.

And just like that, it’s the New Year and time for a whole new TBR year. I’m pretty sure that my tbr has more than tripled because of all the books I’ve found on TikTok. There are quite a few books that I’ve re-read, (pretty much all of Cambria’s books) Her books are some of my biggest comfort reads that kick me out of my reading slumps. This year has been a year for contemporary romance for me. I’ve still read a few fantasy books, but I’m pretty sure the majority of my reads this year have been romance. And I’m not mad at it. I’m working on a post that has the statistics of what I’ve read this year (which I have thanks to the wonderful G from Booktube!) I will also be starting to post some of my backlog of reviews, which soooo should have been up before now. But until I get that done. I hope each and every one of you had an amazing holiday and have a great New Year!
