What’s meant to be will always find a way.

Perfection isn’t an illusion.
I met it, held it in my hands.
But then it slipped right through.

Perfection isn’t an illusion.
It’s elusive, cleverly evasive, and, in many ways, a horrible tease.

I’m not a man to be toyed with.

Quiet, thoughtful, and even sometimes careful, but never someone to taunt.
Even the most controlled men have a breaking point.
I just met mine. Why mess with perfection?
You don’t.
Unless perfection messes with you.

Author Bio:

Cambria Hebert is an award winning, bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.

Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).

Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: The Hashtag Series, Text, Torch, and Tattoo.

Cambria Hebert owns and operates Cambria Hebert Books, LLC.

Life Update… Long Overdue!

Hey Guys!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve done an actual post beyond sharing book releases and covers.  … And a little while since I’ve done that, I’m sorry it might have seemed like I’ve abandoned this blog, but I really haven’t.  It’s been a really hectic couple of months and a lot has been going on.  I figured I’d give ya’ll a bit of an update before hopping back into my regular book blitz’s, Cover Reveals  (Got one coming up soon from a favorite Author!) and tags.

First things first, I’ve been super busy in my (hopefully) final semester in my Master’s program.  I’m preparing for my exams in three fields, Gilded Age and Native Americans, 20th Century U.S. Women’s History and the Feminist Movement, and finally Feminist Theory and Social Media Portrayals.

Between trying to keep up with the work from exam prep and an actual class this semester, my stress levels have been hitting through the roof.

Which brings me to the second topic that has kept me busy.  Back in March, I went to see my doctor after being pushed and pushed by my family because they felt I wasn’t taking care of myself, I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression.  I’ve had some major ups and downs trying to keep myself going while at the same time keep up with my jobs,  school, and my three blogs plus the social media aspects that I run for them.  I haven’t always managed it but I’m trying and some days that’s all that counts.

Another thing that has kept me busy is family, during the summer I had family down and I pushed everything else to the side to be with them because they were moving back to the east coast and it’s going to be a long while before I see them again.  I was able to squeeze into trips in the summer, one to Austin and Dripping Springs and the other to the Frio River up near Leaky.  These were much need breaks for my sanity.

Because of the issues I’ve been having with my personal health, I feel like my decision making has been lacking lately.  And this feels like something that has trickled down into all areas of my life, to the point where I am overwhelmed my every little thing.  Then to top it off I’ve got family obligations that I can not put off and wouldn’t want to even if I could.  It was easier when my oldest sister was here, but between us and our younger sister, we still manage to do what we can.

Hopefully, it won’t be as long as it has been before my next update, but I can’t promise the updates will be as jam-packed as they usually were until my exams are done.

Until Next Time!
