Book Talk: The Ebook or The Print Book?

Hey Guys!

So this is a never ending conversation that I have with people when they see me reading, whether I have a paperback, hardback, kindle or iPhone.  Why are you reading like that when you could be ____?  That’s one thing that I can say I don’t really have preference and I have all different types of books.  It really just depends on what I’m doing and where I’m going.

I guess I really got interested in e-books back when I was in when I was moving around so much.  I remember carrying around no less than 40 or 50 books when I traveled.  It gets ridiculous after a while. Especially when you have more books in your suitcase than you have clothes in it.  (I did that in high school! Who needs clothes anyway right.)

I have three different versions of the e-book reader.  I have a kindle Keyboard, my kindle app on my iPhone and iPad as well as my ibook app on each as well.  I love the fact that I can have 100s of 1000s of books at my disposal rather than the few books that I can keep in my purse.  When I first got my kindle I actually sold most of my books with the exception of a few favorite series. (You know like Harry Potter)

However, there is nothing like going into a bookstore or a library and getting a handful of new or even old reads and sitting in a corner away from everyone and losing yourself in a good read.  I’ve done this in so many places that I can’t tell you how much I enjoy it.  I’ve actually gotten to the point that I’m slowly rebuilding my library back up from when I did my purge a few years back.  It’s taking me a while but I’m getting there.

Question of the day: What do you prefer an actual book or do you like the convenience of the e-book?  Comment down below.

Until Next Time!
